THE ULTIMATE SIN CITY ELOPEMENT GUIDE

Updated: Feb 3

My fiancé and I are doing a version of this. Here is how and why...

Some of our clients have special case family situations, or just do not have the desire to host a big wedding at home. Other clients elope, and then return to host a reception locally.

My fiancé and I hosted a large engagement party (we manage a wedding venue on the east coast, I own a wedding planning firm). I absolutely love my industry, but when you live and breathe big weddings 24/7, we knew we wanted to do something a little off-beat for our own day.

We are officially saying our I-Dos in Zion National Park with our nearest and dearest (35 people), then hosting an afterparty in Vegas for anyone who wants to join. Unconventional, sure. But this is your life, your story, and your rules. Be true to what matters most to you as a couple, and if an elopement is it, let's do it!

_

Las Vegas, often known for its flashy lights and 24/7 energy, is also an incredible place for couples looking to tie the knot in a unique and intimate way. Forget the traditional wedding – in Las Vegas, your elopement can be as personal, quirky, and unforgettable as you want.

Whether you’re seeking a simple ceremony in a chapel, a stunning photoshoot at iconic locations, or an off-the-beaten-path adventure, this city has it all.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the best elopement locations, fun ways to make your day memorable, and even how to kick off your newlywed life with a mini-moon that combines relaxation and adventure.

Best Locations for Your Las Vegas Elopement Ceremony

Las Vegas is full of unexpected romantic spots that can give your elopement a personal touch. Here are a few of the most popular and unique locations:

The Neon Boneyard (Neon Museum): If you love vintage neon signs and want a quirky, retro backdrop for your vows, the Neon Boneyard is the perfect spot. Surrounded by iconic signs from old casinos and hotels, this open-air museum offers a colorful, nostalgic atmosphere that's both fun and memorable. Gorgeous during the day (with a photographer who can work well with direct desert sun), and truly iconic at night. All the preserved old neon lights are fully functional.

Red Rock Canyon: For couples who prefer nature to neon, Red Rock Canyon offers stunning desert landscapes and dramatic sandstone cliffs. Located just outside the city, this spot provides a breathtaking natural backdrop for your ceremony and photos. You can even spend that budget that may have gone towards hundreds of favors on renting a McLaren or Lambo for the day to get out there.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: For a more elegant, lush environment, the Bellagio Conservatory is an indoor oasis with vibrant flowers and impressive horticultural displays. It’s perfect for couples looking for a romantic, serene elopement without straying too far from the Las Vegas Strip.

A Vintage Chapel: For those seeking a classic Vegas elopement vibe, there are countless charming vintage chapels scattered along the Strip. Many of these chapels offer fun options like Elvis impersonators or themed ceremonies, allowing you to add a little bit of Vegas flair. The Tunnel of Love is perfect for photos, as well as the classic white Little White Chapel Signage accessible to the public even if you do not have your actual ceremony inside.

Fremont Street: For an adventurous couple who wants to elope surrounded by the electric energy of the city, Fremont Street is the place to be. The vintage casinos, neon lights, and bustling crowds will set a lively stage for your vows.

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas: If you love the idea of Paris but can’t quite get there, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas offers stunning views of the Strip and the Bellagio Fountains. Say “I do” atop this iconic replica, with the glitz and glamour of the Strip as your backdrop, and definitely have us make your reservation for the Eiffel Tower Restaurant shortly after.

Fun Ways to Make Your Elopement Special

Just because you’re eloping doesn’t mean your celebration has to be any less special or unique! Here are a few creative ideas to add a personal touch:

Get Matching Tattoos: Las Vegas is known for its tattoo culture, and many couples opt to commemorate their special day with matching tattoos. Whether you choose something big and symbolic or a simple design that’s meaningful to both of you, getting inked together is a fun and lasting way to remember your elopement.

Private Helicopter Ride: Take your love to new heights (literally) with a private helicopter ride over the Strip. You’ll get to take in stunning aerial views of Las Vegas while toasting to your new life together. Some companies even offer in-flight weddings, so you can exchange vows mid-air.

Luxury Whip Rental: Rent a McLaren or Lambo for the day through our partners on the ground in Vegas. Nothing is more badass than a new ring on your finger, being hand-in-hand with your new spouse and the power of 3.8L V8 engine whipping you through the desert.

Lucky In Love: For a little Vegas flair, consider heading to the casino after your vows with your photographer to get some classic Vegas style shots.(Tip: Casinos are touchy about photography. Ask us about which casinos turn a blind eye to it).

The Bellagio Fountains: Nothing says Vegas like the Bellagio Fountains. Their dancing waters make for a stunning backdrop for your vows or photos. You can capture the fountains in motion or take a dramatic photo with the fountains’ mist in the background.

Downtown Las Vegas Murals: If you love street art and want something a bit edgier for your elopement photos, head to the Fremont East District, where vibrant murals and colorful walls line the streets. This will give your photos a funky, urban feel that’s totally unique.

Again, Private Helicopter Ride: Absolutely iconic. We know THE perfect photographer for this, we are using her for our wedding and her work is insane. Hit us up.
